Hampshire residential Chartered Surveying firm, Palmer’s Surveyors Ltd is successfully using GoReport for tailor made building surveys and valuations, which according to Managing Director, Geoff Palmer has resulted in “unprecedented turnover, feedback and accuracy” for the company.
Prior to working with GoReport, Geoff like many other surveyors used traditional methods of pen and paper with a Dictaphone to carry out on-site surveys. He would then spend many hours back in the office collating data, having dictated notes transcribed and typing up reports. Thanks to GoReport he is now able to carry out on-site surveys using just an iPad. Geoff can quickly and easily record specific data describing a property, using a combination of custom and reusable standard phrases. Using GoReport’s ‘automated voice to text’ feature Geoff dictates his notes as he undertakes the survey, safe in the knowledge that they will be automatically transcribed without any further effort. Once connected to the internet all his site data, including photos and sketches is uploaded to the web, where it is formatted ready for review and editing, if needed. When ready, he just clicks ‘Publish’ to produce a professionally branded document in the required format.
