This time, it’s personal. Close collaboration results in bespoke surveying solution for Clancy Consulting.
Mike Power, Director at Clancy Consulting, recently shared his experience of dealing directly with GoReport’s customer success team. His practice was about to undertake a major project that was of such a scale, taking it on without a digital data capture solution would have been unfeasible.

So, Clancy called on GoReport’s local project co-ordinator and product specialist, Katy Mace for advice. Rather than offer guidance over the phone, Katy met with Mike and his team to determine their exact requirements. Only by seeing and hearing the project’s challenges first hand could Katy begin to understand the issues, how Clancy intended to manage the project and then recommend practical solutions.
Back at GoReport’s office in Birmingham, Katy scoped out the requirements and then used GoReport’s highly flexible platform to build the functionality Clancy Consulting needed. After some initial testing, the GoReport solutions development team went to work, perfecting Katy’s initial build for simultaneous use with a large team on site at any given time.
Key to making it workable was accommodating and outputting different survey disciplines and data sets into a single, shareable spreadsheet format. It meant structural surveyors could work at the same time as their M&E colleagues, merging and publishing their captured data on the GoReport portal for sharing with their client.
